Not every concern requires a face-to-face appointment.
Virtual consultations work well for a wide range of situations. Common reasons patients choose them include: discussing a new symptom that does not require immediate examination; reviewing blood test or investigation results; medication reviews and repeat prescription queries; follow-up after a previous appointment; mental health concerns including anxiety, low mood, and stress; sexual health queries and advice; travel health advice, including if something goes wrong while you are abroad; and ongoing condition management where a recent in-person assessment is already in place.
If it becomes clear during a virtual consultation that an examination is needed, Dr Dan will arrange an in-person appointment as promptly as possible.

Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation with a secure link to join the video call at the scheduled time. The consultation is conducted using a GDPR-compliant platform. You will need a device with a camera and microphone and a reasonably reliable internet connection.
The consultation runs in the same way as an in-person appointment. Dr Dan will take a history, discuss your concerns, and where appropriate advise on investigations, prescriptions, or referrals. Prescriptions can be sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy.

Dr Dan will call you at the scheduled time on the number provided at booking. Telephone consultations are particularly useful for straightforward queries, medication reviews, and follow-up discussions where visual assessment is not needed.
For simpler queries, email consultations are available at £165. Please call +44 (0)207 139 1833 or email info@thewrightpractice.com to discuss whether an email consultation is appropriate for your concern.
Out-of-hours telephone consultations are available at £225. For urgent concerns outside of normal hours, call +44 (0)207 139 1833.
Dr Dan is available for telephone and video consultations for patients travelling or living overseas. This is particularly useful for: managing ongoing conditions while away; seeking advice if you become unwell abroad; sexual health queries that are difficult to manage locally; and prescription requests for medications needed while travelling.
International patients should be aware that Dr Dan can advise on management and provide UK prescriptions, though local pharmacies may have different dispensing arrangements. He can also help navigate local healthcare systems where needed.

Registered patient (30 mins): £185. New patient (45 mins): £215. Email consultation: £165. Out-of-hours telephone: £225. Full pricing is on the pricing page.

Dr Dan Wright and Dr Susan Jain take a whole-person view of weight management. Weight gain is rarely the result of a single cause: genetics, hormones, stress, sleep, emotional patterns, and a history of struggling with appetite all play a role. The programme is built around that understanding.
Wow! Dr. Dan was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my health and well being. I’m so glad to have found him!
I have been going to Dr Wright for a number of years now. He is highly knowledgeable, compassionate, open minded and efficient, I couldn’t recommend him highly enough
I have been a patient of Doctor Dan for some time and continue to consult with him despite having left the UK. Dan has the enthusiasm and energy of a young man, whilst taking the holistic “physician” approach of an old school family doctor, equipped with the most modern insights and technology.
Dr Jain was great. Expert knowledge with practical advice
